U.S. Embassy in Indonesia Closed After Threat - New York Times

The American embassy was closed today because of what officials would describe only as an unspecified security threat. But a Western counterterrorism official and a private security analyst said the decision was made after a diagram of the embassy and details of how to carry out an attack using explosives were posted on an Islamic Web site.

Am I the only one who finds this a bit odd? “Posted on an Islamic Web site”? You meant to tell me some terrorist just decided to put the attack diagram online on some website? Perhaps they have their own blog? Or they use a social software to communicate to other terrorists around the globe? “Islamic Web Site”… Was that necessary? What does that tell me anyway? Is that different from a “Muslim Web site”? Or a “Christian Web site”? Is Amazon.com a Christian Web site? And why did the New York Times decide to make “Web site” two words and capitalize “Web”? We must get to the bottom of all this.
